Organic materials in landfills produce potent greenhouse gasses like methane, contributing to global warming and climate change. Composting is a calculated and controlled natural and practical process that transforms waste into valuable living soils. Many customers have reported reducing their trash by nearly half through composting. You also earn compost available two times a year.
Customer invoices are distributed via email through our payment processor, Square. Payments can be made by ACH or credit card. We ask that customers pay these invoices at their earliest possible convenience. We look forward to adding a customer account portal in the coming year for additional convenience. No need to worry. Our services are offered on a month-to-month basis, and you are free to cancel at any time. Simply keep your bucket and just let us know when you would like to reactivate your swaps.
If your bucket is filling up before your designated swap day, we can provide another bucket for an additional one time $20 bucket fee. Unfortunately we cannot accept any food waste that doesn’t fit into your bucket. Not counting pizza boxes and pumpkins that can be placed on top or under your bucket.
Please place your bucket outside your door or in a visible location where our driver can easily see it from the road. If our diver can’t see it clearly they will assume no pick is needed.
Please email us at (info@crystalcoastcompost.com) to inform us and we can provide a new bucket. Please note we charge a $20 replacement fee for lost, stolen, or damaged buckets.
